Steve Webb 

Finance Director, City of Covington

Email

Steve Webb is the Finance Director and serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the City of Covington. He oversees the budget, accounting, investments, accounts payable, revenue, accounts receivable, procurement, and payroll functions of the City. He also serves ex officio on several boards; Board of Trustees for the City Employees Retirement Fund, Covington Economic Development Authority, Occupational License Board of Appeals, Police and Fire Pension Board, Rental License Appeal Board, and The Fund for Covington, Inc.

Steve was awarded the KGFOA's Finance Officer of the Year award in 2023 and serves on the Board of Directors for the Kentucky League of Cities as KGFOA President. He also serves as the Board Treasurer for a chapter of the Purdue Alumni Association and previously served on the Northern Kentucky Public Entity Joint Health Insurance Board. Prior to joining the City of Covington, he held leadership roles with the Northern Kentucky Area Development District, the State of Indiana, and the City of Indianapolis.

Audra Kyle

Controller, City of Paducah

Email

Audra Kyle is the Controller for the City of Paducah, Kentucky and has been in the accounting profession for over 20 years. She has held positions of auditor, county treasurer, budget officer, and controller with specific experience in governmental accounting serving in both county and city governments. In her current position of Controller for the City of Paducah, she oversees audit, accounting, accounts payable, and payroll. Audra has been with the City of Paducah since 2006, and has served in her current position since 2008.

Audra is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Murray State University.

Alice Harris

Treasurer, City of Mount Washington

Email

Alice Harris is the Treasurer for the City of Mount Washington, which was just a small community when she was born but has seen exponential growth over several decades. The current budgets for Mount Washington’s combined funds (City, Water/Sewer, Restricted, and Alcohol Beverage Control) total just under $30M. Before becoming the City Treasurer in December, 2017, Alice was an elected member of the City Council. Outside of City Government, Alice has worked in various fields that have helped shape her expertise (legal, real estate, education, and business). She has received her Master of City Governance Certificate from the Kentucky League of Cities and is working on the Certified Municipal Officer level.

Outside of work, she serves as Treasurer for Bike Walk Kentucky, Mt. Washington Historical Society, and Mt. Washington Emergency Management Services.  Alice’s favorite things to talk about, though, are her six grandchildren, four daughters, and husband of 43 years.

Melissa Clayton

Chief Financial Officer, City of Hopkinsville

Email

Melissa is the Chief Financial Officer for the City of Hopkinsville, Kentucky. She oversees the Finance operations for the City. Melissa began her career with the City of Hopkinsville in 2011 serving in many different roles over the years. She was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in February of 2023.

Melissa holds a Master’s of Accountancy, a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, and is currently working on obtaining her CPA licensure. She serves as Treasurer for Campanile Productions Inc.
